_Hello, my name is Andrejs, and I am a Junior Web Developer based in Berlin. I have been learning and working on web development since 2017. My journey began with learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on Codecademy with the course Build Websites from Scratch.

Over time, I expanded my skills to include working with the Node.js runtime environment, the Express framework for backend development, and the Pug template engine for writing HTML. I further enhanced my expertise by diving into popular front-end frameworks like Angular, Vue, and React, utilizing both JavaScript and TypeScript.

In addition to front-end and back-end web development, I learned Python 3 and worked with Python-based web frameworks such as Django and Flask to deepen my understanding of full-stack development. During this time, I also developed and launched this website – my Personal Portfolio Site.

To achieve this, I used the command-line interface (CLI) and Git, a distributed version control system, on my favorite Linux distribution, Ubuntu. I also learned how to host websites on web servers, as well as how to configure and secure them effectively.

Since starting my journey, I have been a Codecademy Pro student and continually work to improve my coding skills every day. As part of this commitment, I have earned a Full-Stack Engineer certification.
